About The Brilliant Club
In partnership with collaborating universities, we host seminar series that examine how academic research can be used to inform practices in schools and widening participation. Uniquely, each seminar features a presentation by at least one academic and one practitioner, linked by a central theme. The seminars are particularly useful for academics and practitioners interested in the social mobility agenda who want to have in-depth discussions about the role of research in widening participation.
Research Seminar Series 1
Research Seminar Series 1, hosted in partnership with UCL, is now over. We will shortly be publishing a digest of the series, which will be available on this page.
Research Seminar Series 2
In 2018/19, we will be hosting Research Seminar Series 2 in partnership with Cardiff University, the University of Sheffield, the University of Strathclyde and UCL. We are delighted to be able to hold seminars across the UK and look forward to welcoming researchers and practitioners to engage with the subjects covered. Further details and tickets will be available on this page later in the year.
